The leaves have a pronounced central vein with contrasting lateral veins that create a defined pattern across the blade, while the undersides can develop deeper purple tones. New leaves often emerge with particularly rich coloration before maturing into darker green to purple hues. This tropical Alocasia grows best in bright indirect light, warm temperatures, and high humidity.
