Alocasia ‘Silver Dragon’ Aurea is a rare golden form of the classic Silver Dragon, where the usual silvery green foliage is replaced with warm yellow to chartreuse tones while keeping the signature thick, textured, scale like leaf surface. Each leaf emerges compact and sculptural, with color deepening as it matures and highlighting the raised veining in a different light than the standard form. It stays naturally small and works well in bright indirect light, a well draining substrate, consistent moisture, and higher humidity, and it is not pet safe.
Highly variegated leaves are prone to browning and may be more vulnerable during the shipping process. Alocasia grow new leaves and drop older leaves more frequently than other plants.
