Monstera deliciosa Albo Variegated (Brazilian Form), also known as the intermediate form, is a rare variegated selection distinguished by its larger leaf size and deeper fenestrations that form closer to the midline of the leaf. In this form, mint variegation is far more commonly seen, making true albo variegation notably scarce. The leaves are broader and more substantial than small form or Borsigiana, while still maintaining a climbing growth habit rather than a self-heading one. Variegation appears as irregular white to cream sectors caused by reduced chlorophyll, with each leaf developing unique patterning. This form benefits from a support pole to encourage proper climbing and mature leaf development and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil.
