Zamioculcas zamifolia ‘ZZ’ Aurea Variegated has glossy, feather-like leaves with yellow to golden variegation. Leaf patterns vary widely, from narrow streaks to large irregular patches, and some leaves can be almost entirely gold while others remain mostly green, making each plant unique. It grows upright in compact clumps with thick rhizomes that store water, allowing it to go long periods between watering. The plant prefers bright indirect light but tolerates lower light and can be placed on a pebble tray for gentle humidity.
