Cissus discolor Variegated is an ultra-rare and more vibrant form of the classic Cissus discolor, commonly known as the Rex Begonia Vine. The elongated, velvety leaves show a deep green base with bold silver variegation along the midrib and veins, while the undersides develop rich burgundy to purple tones. The leaf surface often displays small raised bumps caused by naturally occurring calcium oxalate druse crystals, which are a normal part of the plant’s physiology and not a sign of pests or disease. This plant has a trailing to climbing growth habit and grows best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil and warm, humid conditions.
