Dioscorea 'Satun Pink' is a rare Asian yam selection collected from the Satun province of Thailand, prized for the striking coloration of its emergent climbing foliage. The heart-shaped leaves open with soft blush to vivid pink hues across the blade before gradually maturing into an olive green with contrasting lighter venation. As a tuberous perennial, it produces thin, climbing vines from a subterranean or semi-exposed tuber that appreciate a small trellis or wire hoop to climb. Provide warm temperatures, high humidity, and bright, filtered light in an airy, free-draining potting mix.
