Monstera 'Burle Marx Flame' Aurea Variegated is distinguished by its thick, narrow leaves with deep, regular fenestrations that extend almost completely to the central midrib. This rare aurea form features warm yellow and chartreuse marbling, streaks, and sectoral patches against the dark green, leathery blade. As an upright climbing aroid, providing a sturdy cedar plank or moss pole encourages the stems to establish and helps mature leaves reach their characteristic skeletonized shape. Position in bright, indirect light to maintain healthy variegation, and pot in an open, coarse mix, allowing the substrate to dry down partially between thorough waterings.
