Philodendron gloriosum Albo Variegated Type 1 is a rare variegated form of the terrestrial, creeping Philodendron gloriosum. This Type 1 expression is characterized by clean white to cream variegation that appears as marbling or sectoral patches on large, heart-shaped, velvety leaves. The foliage has a deep green base with pronounced pale veins, and the variegation tends to present in defined areas rather than fine speckling. As a crawler, it grows horizontally along the substrate rather than climbing, producing progressively larger leaves as the rhizome advances. It performs best in bright, indirect light with evenly moist, well-draining soil, high humidity, and warm, stable conditions.
