Aroid Moist inverts the ratio to one part bark to two parts base, using the same 4 to 9mm bark grade as our Balanced mix, so the peat-driven component does more of the work holding water around the roots. This suits aroids that prefer consistent dampness and finer root systems that dry out and stress quickly in a bark-forward mix. The same biofungicide, mycorrhizae, wetting agent, and pH buffering carry through, keeping the mix biologically active and buffered into the same 5.0 to 7.0 range as the rest of the line, just with less air and more water held at the root zone.
